2)      Magsaysay

3)      Quirino

4)      Del Pilar

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

Barangay Del Pilar is one of the 43 barangays of the Municipality of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.  It is located at the eastern part of the Poblacion, which has a total land area of 98.5326 hectares.  This barangay is a walking distance going to the Town Proper and the Municipal Public Market.

The National Highway crossed the northern part of the barangay whereby several residential houses are located along its left side facing east.  Most of the flat areas are sub-divided into blocks; the elevated/hilly portions is where the Tagudin Central School, DIGITEL, Tagudin Fire Station and the NFA Office and warehouse are located.

The barangay is generally flat with some hilly portions on the eastern part of the town proper.  At the southern part, a dike constructed during the Spanish era can be found which protects the town from floods during rainy season. The northern part is a fertile loamy rice field, which is black-brown in texture.  Almost 80 percent of the land area is covered by residential and commercial infrastructure, while a measly 20% is devoted to agricultural and government establishments.

The presence of a river and open rice fields in the southern and northern parts of the barangay affects the climate from warm to moderate.  Its warmness is due to the congestion of residential and commercial establishments since it is a semi-urban area being located in the Poblacion.

Almost all the people can speak and understand Ilocano, Tagalog and English.
